1. About This Policy and Who Is Responsible
STUDY WITH FM LTD, trading as Study With FM, is responsible for deciding how cookies and similar technologies are used on this website, including any associated analytics, consent settings and website information.
STUDY WITH FM LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 11417586.
Registered office: 7 Westmoreland House, Cumberland Park, Scrubs Lane, London, England, NW10 6RE, United Kingdom.
Study With FM also operates in Nigeria through a separate legal entity, Study With FM Global Limited, registered under RC 7602429.
Nigerian registered address: No. 25, Aare Avenue, New Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Company email: info@studywithfm.com
The Nigerian company does not determine the purposes or means of cookie use on this website. Our Tehran-based contact helps with initial student enquiries and referrals to the UK team but does not administer this website or determine its cookie or tracking arrangements. Responsibility for these technologies remains with STUDY WITH FM LTD in the UK.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Privacy and Data Protection Contact
If you have a question about cookies, this policy or your data-protection rights, please contact our Privacy / Data Protection Contact:
Email: coordinator@studywithfm.com UK telephone: +44 7557 271171
3. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website may store on your browser or device. Similar technologies can include local or session storage, tracking pixels, scripts, tags and other methods of storing information on, or accessing information from, a device.
Some technologies operate only while you use a website. Others may remain between visits. The rules governing these technologies can apply even when the information involved does not identify you. If personal data is processed, data-protection law may also apply.
4. How We Use These Technologies
Study With FM uses a cookie-consent interface so visitors can accept, reject or manage optional technologies. Technologies may also be needed to operate the website securely, provide functions you request and remember privacy choices.
We do not currently deploy optional website analytics, advertising cookies, advertising pixels, remarketing or behavioural tracking technologies. If this changes, we will review the technology, update the information provided to visitors and obtain consent where required before activating it.
5. Applicable Law
In the United Kingdom, the use of cookies and similar storage and access technologies is governed principally by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended, including changes made by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Where personal data is involved, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 may also apply. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) issued updated final guidance on storage and access technologies on 29 April 2026.
Where relevant processing falls within the scope of Nigerian law, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable guidance from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) may also apply. Other laws may apply depending on the circumstances.
6. When Is Consent Required?
Under UK law, we must generally give you clear information and obtain valid consent before storing information on, or accessing information from, your device, unless a legal exception applies.
Where consent is required, optional technologies will not be activated before you agree. Continuing to browse does not count as consent, and optional choices must not be pre-selected. It should be as easy to reject optional technologies as to accept them, and you must be able to withdraw consent.
UK law recognises specific exceptions for certain technologies used solely for the transmission of communications, to provide a service you have requested, for qualifying statistical purposes, for qualifying appearance or functionality purposes, or for emergency assistance. Each exception has conditions; a technology is not exempt simply because it benefits our business.
7. Strictly Necessary Technologies
Some storage or access technologies may be essential to provide the website or a function you have requested. Examples may include technologies genuinely required for security, essential sessions, network management or recording a cookie choice.
Where the strictly necessary exception applies, prior consent is not required. Analytics, advertising, marketing and general optimisation are not automatically strictly necessary.
8. Analytics and Statistical Technologies
We do not currently deploy optional website analytics technologies.
If we introduce analytics, we will assess their actual purposes and operation. UK law permits a narrow exception for certain technologies used solely to collect statistical information to improve a website or service. This exception requires clear information and a simple, free way to object, as well as compliance with its other conditions.
Analytics used for advertising, profiling or purposes beyond the exception will require consent where applicable. We will not treat an analytics product as exempt merely because it produces statistics.
9. Preference, Appearance and Functionality Technologies
Certain technologies may help a website remember an explicit language, accessibility, display or interface preference.
UK law provides a limited exception for qualifying technologies whose purpose is to adapt or enhance a website's appearance or functionality. Where that exception is used, visitors must receive clear information and a simple, free means of objecting.
This exception does not cover behavioural advertising or choosing content on the basis of inferred interests. We will obtain consent for any non-exempt purpose where required.
10. Remembering Your Cookie Choices
Our cookie controls may use browser storage or a similar technology to remember your selection. This helps us respect a choice to accept, reject or configure optional technologies when you return to the website.
Remembering a privacy choice does not, by itself, permit analytics, advertising or other optional tracking.
11. Marketing and Advertising Technologies
We do not currently use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, retargeting technologies or behavioural advertising tracking on this website.
If we introduce such technologies, we will explain their purposes and providers and obtain consent before using them where required. We will not rely on an exemption for statistical website improvement to justify advertising or profiling.
12. Third-Party Services and Embedded Content
Some website features, such as externally provided forms, maps, videos, booking tools or communications services, may involve third-party technologies. Not every third-party service uses cookies, and a link to an external website is different from embedding a tracking technology on our site.
Where an integrated service stores or accesses information on your device, we will assess its purpose and applicable consent requirements. Technologies that require consent must not activate before the relevant choice has been made. A third party may also provide its own privacy information when you use its service.
13. Technologies Currently Used on This Website
At present, we do not use optional analytics, advertising, remarketing or behavioural tracking technologies on this website.
The website does have cookie-preference controls. Essential website functions and the recording of cookie choices may involve cookies or other storage and access technologies. Their presence and operation depend on the final website configuration.
We review the use of these technologies when the website or its integrated services change.
14. Managing and Changing Your Choices
Our cookie banner provides the following options:
- Accept All — accept optional technologies for which consent is requested.
- Reject All — refuse those optional technologies.
- Manage Preferences — review the available purposes and make a more specific choice.
To review or change a saved choice, use the website's Cookie Settings control where available. You can also use your browser settings to manage information stored on your device. If you cannot access the cookie-preference controls, contact coordinator@studywithfm.com for assistance. Where a legal exception requires a right to object rather than advance consent, we will provide a simple and free way to object.
Rejecting optional technologies will not prevent you from accessing the core website functions. Some optional features may be unavailable if their required technology is not enabled.
15. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies and other locally stored website information. You may also be able to restrict third-party cookies through your browser settings.
Deleting or blocking essential site information can affect website functionality. Browser controls are an additional option and do not replace our responsibility to obtain consent where legally required.
16. How Long Technologies Last
Session-based technologies generally operate only during the relevant session. Persistent technologies may remain until their configured expiry or until deleted.
Different technologies have different durations. We aim to use them no longer than reasonably necessary for their purposes and will review their duration whenever a technology is introduced or changed.
17. Records of Cookie Choices
To respect your preferences and demonstrate appropriate consent management, we may keep a record of your choice, the time it was made, the purposes or categories involved, and the version of the notice shown to you.
We may ask you to make a new choice if the technologies, purposes, providers or relevant legal requirements materially change. There is no universal validity period for every cookie-consent choice.
18. Cookies and Personal Data
Some technologies may involve personal information, such as an IP address, an online identifier, browser or device details, or information about interactions with a website.
Where personal information is processed, we assess the relevant lawful basis and comply with applicable data-protection obligations in addition to the rules about accessing or storing information on a device. Our Privacy Policy explains our wider data practices, including lawful bases, retention, recipients and international processing.
19. Your Data-Protection Rights
Depending on the law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to its processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent.
These rights are not absolute in every situation. For assistance, see our Privacy Policy or email coordinator@studywithfm.com.
20. Complaints
If you have concerns about cookies or personal information, please contact our Privacy / Data Protection Contact at coordinator@studywithfm.com or call +44 7557 271171.
For complaints governed by UK data-protection law, we will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, take appropriate steps to investigate it and communicate the outcome without undue delay.

21. Children and Young People
Some Study With FM services are relevant to children and young people. We take their privacy and safeguarding needs into account when considering website technologies, including whether tracking, profiling, advertising or third-party integrations are necessary and appropriate.
For more information about how we handle children's personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
22. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when website technologies, providers, purposes, consent arrangements, applicable law or our website-processing responsibilities change.
Where a significant change affects an earlier consent or objection, we may ask you to make a fresh choice. We will show the date of the latest published version when this policy is updated.
