Why families choose Study With FM
Personal attention, clear guidance and practical support for studying abroad — with the flexibility to choose the services you need.
Six things that set our service apart
Support beyond the offer or visa decision
Our support can continue through pre-departure preparation and arrival. Depending on your agreed service, this may include airport collection, accommodation check-in, transport to your school or university, SIM-card support and local orientation.
Education pathways from school age to PhD
We support applications for primary and secondary schools, boarding schools, summer camps, foundation programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and doctoral study. Students and families can seek support at different stages as their needs change.
Connected support across London, Ibadan and Tehran
Our teams in London and Ibadan support students and families across different regions and time zones. In Tehran, Nikan acts as our local partner for initial enquiries and referrals. All paid consultancy agreements and payments are handled directly by STUDY WITH FM LTD in the UK.
Support that considers the whole family
Where relevant, we consider the needs of parents, spouses and children alongside the student's plans. We help families understand practical considerations and find official information about destination-specific rules; eligibility for accompanying family members is never guaranteed.
Honest expectations from the beginning
We cannot guarantee admission, visas or scholarships. We help clients understand requirements, prepare applications carefully and organise appropriate supporting evidence, while being clear that final decisions rest with institutions and the relevant authorities.
Built on our founder's experience
Our approach draws on more than 20 years of experience in education and student support gained by our founder, Mahin Shafiei. Her background in psychology, education and special educational needs has helped shape an individual approach rather than a one-size-fits-all service.
What we will never promise you
Schools, universities, scholarship providers and immigration authorities make their own decisions. No education consultancy can control those outcomes.
We will not promise:
- A guaranteed place at a particular school, college or university
- A guaranteed visa or immigration outcome
- A guaranteed scholarship or award of funding
- Preferential decisions or faster processing by institutions or authorities
What we can do is help you research suitable options, understand published requirements and prepare your applications with care, within the scope of your agreed service.
For visa matters, we provide general information, signposting to official sources and permitted administrative preparation support. We do not provide regulated UK immigration advice or representation.
What our service is built on
Personal attention
We take account of your academic background, goals, budget, language needs and personal circumstances before helping you explore suitable study options.
Honest guidance
If a course, institution or destination does not appear realistic for your circumstances, we will explain the concerns and help you consider alternatives.
Long-term support
Our support can continue beyond an offer or visa decision, where the relevant services have been selected. We aim to build relationships that students and families can return to as their plans develop.
International opportunity
We put our clients' interests first. Our recommendations are based on each student's background, goals, budget and circumstances — not on which option is most commercially beneficial to us. We consider suitable opportunities across different institutions and destinations to help each student make an informed choice.
Organised, practical service
As part of the relevant application service, we help clients understand requirements, monitor important deadlines and review documents before submission. Clients remain responsible for providing accurate information and required documents on time.
Family-focused support
A decision to study abroad often affects more than one person. We include parents, spouses and dependants in relevant planning discussions, rather than treating their needs as an afterthought.
Flexible support from planning to arrival
You can choose an individual service or broader support covering education planning, applications, documents, accommodation, guardianship, pre-departure preparation and arrival. The support you receive depends on what you agree with us.
What we can help you with
- Individual assessments and education or career planning
- School, boarding-school, summer camp and short-course applications
- Foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD applications
