These Terms govern your use of our Website and explain the general arrangements for our education recruitment and application assistance. Our recruitment work may be funded by commissions from education institutions. Study With FM does not charge students who engage with us from Iran for our assistance. Certain separate consultations or specialist services offered to other clients may carry fees, as explained below.
1. About Study With FM
The Website is operated by STUDY WITH FM LTD, trading as Study With FM, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 11417586 Registered office: 7 Westmoreland House, Cumberland Park, Scrubs Lane, London, England, NW10 6RE, United Kingdom
Nigeria
Study With FM Global Limited is a separate company registered in Nigeria.
RC number: 7602429 Date of registration: 21 June 2024 Registered address: No. 25, Aare Avenue, New Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria Company email: info@studywithfm.com
Study With FM Global Limited is legally separate from STUDY WITH FM LTD. STUDY WITH FM LTD coordinates the education recruitment and application-support activities described on this Website, including for enquiries originating in Nigeria. Any paid service agreement with Study With FM for those activities is entered into with STUDY WITH FM LTD.
Iran — Tehran Office Enquiries
We maintain a local contact point in Tehran for initial enquiries. A representative there may receive enquiry details and forward relevant information to STUDY WITH FM LTD in the United Kingdom. This location is not a staffed, walk-in student service centre. Enquiries are generally handled remotely, and an in-person meeting must be arranged and confirmed in advance.
Our colleagues who provide ongoing Persian-language education guidance and application support are based in the United Kingdom. Our Tehran representative does not collect payments from students or families.
In these Terms, “Study With FM”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean STUDY WITH FM LTD unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Using the Website
These Terms apply to this website and other Study With FM webpages or online features that display or link to them (together, the Website).
By using the Website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
Sending an enquiry does not oblige you to apply to an institution or authorise us to submit an application without the arrangements needed for that application.
3. Our Services, Fees and University Commissions
We provide information and support relating to education options, student recruitment and applications, subject to the scope of assistance agreed with you.
For students engaging with us from Iran, Study With FM does not charge fees for its education guidance, recruitment or application assistance. Our Tehran contact does not collect client payments.
Other clients may receive recruitment and admissions assistance without a Study With FM fee. However, some separate services, such as detailed consultations, application reviews or specialist assessments, may be chargeable. Where a fee applies, we will explain the service and applicable charges before a paid agreement is made. A paid agreement may be entered into through the Website, email, telephone or WhatsApp, subject to the legal requirements described in Section 9.
Universities or other education institutions may pay STUDY WITH FM LTD a commission when a student is successfully recruited under the institution's terms. Not every institution pays commission, and a particular application may not result in a commission payment.
We may recommend or discuss institutions with which we have a commercial relationship. We aim to consider your qualifications, objectives and preferences when discussing suitable options. We do not represent every institution, and no commission arrangement guarantees admission, a scholarship or another outcome.
Costs charged independently by universities, governments and other providers are separate from any Study With FM service fee. See Section 9.
4. Children and Young People
Our education-related information and services may be relevant to children and young people. People under 18 are not prohibited from accessing the Website.
If you are under 18, we encourage you to involve a parent or guardian where appropriate. Depending on your age, the service and applicable law, a parent or guardian may need to provide consent, information or authorisation for us to assist with an enquiry or application.
Parents and guardians acting for a child must have appropriate authority to do so. Please see our Privacy Policy and Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy.
5. Information on the Website
We aim to make our information about courses, institutions, destinations, applications and related matters clear and useful. However, requirements and policies may change, sometimes without notice.
This includes entry requirements, application deadlines, tuition fees, scholarships, deposits, visa and immigration rules, financial evidence requirements, accommodation, work permissions and course availability.
Before making an important decision, check the latest information with the relevant school, university, government department or other official source. General information on the Website is not a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances.
Where we agree to help with an application, our responsibilities are determined by the assistance agreed and applicable law.
6. No Guarantee of Admission, Visa or Other Outcome
We can provide support within the scope of an agreed service, but decisions about admissions, scholarships, visas and other outcomes are made by independent institutions or authorities.
We do not guarantee admission to a particular institution or course, an offer, a scholarship or discount, a visa or immigration decision, accommodation, employment, post-study work eligibility, a particular processing time or an academic result.
An outcome achieved by another applicant does not guarantee the same result for you. Nothing in this section limits any obligation we owe to provide an agreed service with the care and skill required by law.
7. Visa and Immigration-Related Support
Our visa-related services are limited to administrative application assistance, general factual information and referrals. We do not provide regulated immigration advice.
Immigration rules and decisions are controlled by the relevant authorities. If you need advice about your individual immigration position, eligibility or legal options, we may direct you to an appropriately authorised adviser. In the United Kingdom, regulated immigration advice must be provided by an adviser or organisation authorised under the applicable regulatory framework.
We cannot guarantee a visa or any other immigration outcome.
8. Your Responsibilities
When using the Website or engaging with us, please provide information that is accurate, complete and genuine to the best of your knowledge.
You must not knowingly provide falsified qualifications, altered documents, false identity details, misleading financial records, fabricated references or other information intended to mislead us, an education provider or an authority.
If an application or document is prepared in your name and you have an opportunity to review it, please check it carefully. Provide requested information and documents in good time; delays may affect what can be achieved before an application deadline.
We may decline or discontinue assistance with activity that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, unlawful or deliberately misleading, subject to applicable law and any commitments we have made.
9. Paid Services, Third-Party Costs and Cancellation
Paid services
Certain optional consultancy or specialist services may be available for a fee to clients outside our no-fee arrangements for students from Iran. Any paid service is provided by STUDY WITH FM LTD under the scope and terms agreed for that service.
Before entering a paid service agreement, you should be informed of the service being purchased, its price or how the price is calculated, what is and is not included, payment terms and applicable cancellation or refund rights. Where the law requires this information and confirmation to be provided in a form you can keep, we will comply with that requirement. Website enquiries, telephone calls, emails and WhatsApp communications may be used to agree a service; no particular communication channel removes applicable consumer rights.
For many UK consumer service contracts concluded at a distance, a statutory right to cancel applies for 14 days after the day the contract is made, subject to legal exceptions and rules for services started at the consumer's request during that period. Any amount payable after cancellation and any refund will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the agreed service terms. Nothing here limits your mandatory cancellation or refund rights.
Costs charged by third parties
You may need to pay tuition, enrolment deposits, institutional application fees, examination fees, visa application fees, accommodation costs, insurance or other costs directly to the relevant institution, authority or provider. These are not Study With FM consultancy or recruitment fees, and the third party's own payment and refund rules may apply.
For students engaging with us from Iran, Study With FM and its Tehran contact do not collect student fees, tuition, deposits, visa charges or other third-party payments. Students should verify any payment instructions directly with the relevant institution or provider.
Ending our assistance
To stop receiving assistance or to ask about cancellation or a refund for a paid service, contact coordinator@studywithfm.com. We will consider your request in line with any applicable service terms and the law. An application already submitted to a third-party institution may remain subject to that institution's separate withdrawal and refund rules.
10. Accounts and Login Details
If the Website offers account or login features, you are responsible for taking reasonable steps to keep your credentials secure and for notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You must not impersonate another person, use someone else's account without permission, obtain another user's credentials or deliberately bypass security measures.
We may temporarily restrict access to investigate a genuine security concern, suspected fraud or significant misuse, where reasonably necessary.
11. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Website to:
- Break the law, commit fraud or impersonate another person.
- Threaten, harass or abuse others, or submit unlawful or infringing material.
- Introduce malicious software or compromise Website security.
- Access accounts, systems or information without permission.
- Disrupt the Website or bypass technical safeguards.
- Carry out unauthorised automated extraction that materially disrupts our systems or infringes legal rights.
We may take reasonable and proportionate steps to prevent misuse and protect the Website and its users.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Website's original text, branding, designs, images, graphics and other materials are owned by, licensed to or lawfully used by STUDY WITH FM LTD or the relevant rights holder.
You may view and use Website content for lawful personal purposes. You must not reproduce, sell, republish or commercially exploit protected material without permission unless permitted by law.
You must not use Study With FM's name or branding in a way that falsely suggests our endorsement, authorisation or partnership. Legal copyright exceptions and other mandatory rights remain unaffected.
13. Information and Materials You Provide
Please provide only information, documents, images and other materials that you are entitled to share.
Information provided through an enquiry or agreed service may be used, as appropriate and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, to respond to you, assess your enquiry, assist with applications, communicate with relevant institutions, maintain appropriate records and meet legal obligations.
If you contact our Tehran representative, the representative may record your initial enquiry and forward relevant contact and education-related information to STUDY WITH FM LTD. Our Privacy Policy explains how this information is handled.
Providing application documents does not give Study With FM permission to publish them. Testimonials, photographs, videos, case studies and other promotional client materials require the appropriate permissions.
14. Tehran Office and Enquiries from Iran
Study With FM maintains a Tehran office contact point to help prospective students in Iran make initial enquiries. A local representative may answer introductory questions, record your enquiry and send relevant information to STUDY WITH FM LTD in the United Kingdom.
This location operates primarily as a remote contact point, not as a staffed walk-in office. Do not visit without first arranging and receiving confirmation of a meeting. Subsequent education guidance, recruitment coordination and application assistance are provided by our UK-based team, including Persian-speaking colleagues.
We do not charge Iranian students for Study With FM assistance, and our Tehran representative does not collect or handle student payments. You can also contact our UK team directly at coordinator@studywithfm.com.
Please see our Privacy Policy for information about how enquiries and personal information are handled.
15. Independent Institutions and Third-Party Services
The Website may mention schools, universities, admissions platforms, examination providers, government authorities, accommodation providers, guardianship services and other independent organisations.
Some universities pay Study With FM commissions for eligible student recruitment. Unless expressly stated and supported by an actual arrangement, mentioning an organisation does not mean it endorses, sponsors or formally partners with Study With FM.
Those organisations are responsible for their own admissions decisions, requirements, fees, policies, services and timelines. If we help you communicate with or apply to a third-party provider, that provider's own terms may apply to its services, and we remain responsible for any duties imposed on us by law.
16. Links to Other Websites
We may link to external websites for information or convenience. We do not control those websites and cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability or security of their content.
A link does not, on its own, indicate endorsement or a formal relationship. Please review the terms and privacy notices of any third-party service you use.
17. Website Availability and Security
We aim to keep the Website accessible and reasonably secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
Features may be unavailable temporarily because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, security incidents, third-party outages, legal requirements or events outside our reasonable control.
Please use appropriate security measures on your own devices. Nothing in this section reduces any responsibility we cannot lawfully exclude.
18. Restricting Website Access
We may suspend or restrict access to some Website functions where reasonably necessary to address material breaches of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, serious security risks, abusive behaviour or legal requirements.
We aim to act proportionately where practical. Restricting Website access does not, by itself, terminate a separately agreed paid service, withdraw an application already submitted to an independent institution, or remove legal rights you may have.
19. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is unlawful, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, mandatory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
We aim to provide education guidance, application assistance and any separately agreed paid services with appropriate care and skill. Whether you pay us directly does not remove duties imposed on us by law.
We do not control independent decisions made by schools, universities, immigration authorities or other third parties. An unfavourable decision by an independent organisation does not, by itself, mean that Study With FM has breached an obligation to you.
For use of the Website, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or were not caused by a breach of a legal duty owed to you, to the extent permitted by law. Specific service obligations and any lawful limitations for an agreed paid service may be set out in that service's terms, without overriding your mandatory legal rights.
20. Consumer Rights
Your rights under applicable consumer-protection law remain unaffected by these Terms. The particular rights available to you depend on the services and circumstances involved, including whether a service is chargeable and how any contract is formed.
For UK consumers, relevant protections may include the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For people in Nigeria, mandatory protections under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and other applicable laws are preserved where they apply.
21. Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including initial enquiries sent by our Tehran representative to STUDY WITH FM LTD.
Our Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy explains the use of cookies and related technologies.
For privacy or data-protection enquiries, contact our Privacy / Data Protection Contact at coordinator@studywithfm.com or call +44 7557 271171.
22. Complaints and Disputes
If you are unhappy with the Website or the assistance we have provided, please contact us so we can review your concern and try to resolve it.
Email: coordinator@studywithfm.com UK telephone: +44 7557 271171
For concerns about personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
You remain free to seek independent advice, contact an appropriate regulator, exercise statutory rights or bring legal proceedings where entitled to do so.
23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory right you may have to bring or defend proceedings elsewhere.
STUDY WITH FM LTD operates the Website and coordinates the education recruitment, application assistance and any paid consultancy services described here. Study With FM Global Limited is a separate Nigerian legal entity. Any distinct service agreement may contain a lawful governing-law or jurisdiction provision for that service, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the Website, our services, operational arrangements or applicable laws change, or when an update is reasonably needed for security or clarity.
Changes will normally apply from the date a new version is published. They will not, solely by their publication, retrospectively alter a separate arrangement already agreed with you where applicable law prevents this. We will provide notice where required by law.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
26. Waiver
A delay or failure by us to exercise a right does not automatically mean that right has been waived. A waiver in one situation does not necessarily apply to another.
27. Translations
These Terms may be available in English, Persian or other languages. We aim to maintain the same substantive meaning across versions.
If a difference in meaning arises, the English version may be used as a reference to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not affect mandatory rights or protections available to you.
